Professional competence

My professional growth path flows through three main life stages:

The first one, connected with my technical education, doctorate for technology and scientific activity in the Bulgarian Academy of Science, has led me to the world of exact sciences, high technologies, and serious scientific research – a domain that demands precision, curiosity and patience. At this stage I gained the persistency in pursuing my aims and the ceaseless desire for new learning, fresh knowledge and constant personal improvement.

The second one, connected with my journalistic activity and scientific publicism in Bulgarian National Radio and other national media, has joined me to the world of communications where I still am actively involved.

The third one, connected with entrepreneurship and people/process management, started with the democratic changes in Bulgaria in 1990. It has given me the freedom to follow my dreams and create reality for my own vision and the people I work with.

These three life stages outline the spheres of my professional competence:

• Science and practice based models for managing and developing processes, companies and organizations. 
• Development and implementation of company and public communications strategies; media expertise; strategies for event marketing; corporate and intercultural communication (mentoring, moderating, facilitating, training); taking part and supporting the activity of management and supervisory boards, public management authorities, private foundations.
• Personal coaching of chief executives and management teams in companies and public organizations focusing on “systematic coaching for change management”, holding out potential for personal and career development, achieving new goals and meeting life challenges. My competence as a coach reflects the “systemic” approach towards professional, organizational and personal life and supports their harmonious building.

In the years of my studies and work I have had the pleasure to communicate with people from all five continents of our beautiful planet in different languages - Bulgarian /my mother tongue/, German, English, French - languages that I freely use.

The most significant thing I have learnt and kept in my heart is that all people in the world have the right to a worthy and happy life, education and development, job opportunities and free communication.
